Lesson Pricing

Lessons are priced on a sliding scale based on ability to pay. My preferred rate is $40-60 per hour, but I can go as low as $25 if your financial situation is tight. Most of my students choose to do one hour lesson each week, but if you prefer to do a half-hour, two hours, one-off, twice weekly, every other week, or monthly lessons, that's also doable! Just contact me and let me know what you'd like to do.

Cancellation Policy

As someone who knows what it's like to have a chronic illness, I try to keep a forgiving cancellation policy. If you cancel our lesson within 3 hours of the start time, I'll charge a cancellation fee of 50% of your lesson price. If you cancel for reasons related to illness, I won't charge any fee. Many of my students still choose to pay the full fee in these situations, so it's up to you and your financial situation what you choose to do.

No-Shows

The full lesson fee will be charged in the case of a no-show, to compensate for the time I spend preparing for our lesson and setting up the music studio space.
